How did you get involved with polkas?
"When I was just a baby, my dad would hold me above the turntable and I was mesmerized by the Belaire Records label cornucopia looking thing spinning around and around. My father played the accordion and at family gatherings would play along with my uncle and cousin. My parents would drag me along as a toddler to polka dances. My grandma used to sing to me in Polish."
When did you start playing an instrument?
"I started playing the drums and accordion around 10 years of age. I played a song on drums with Bruno Mikos at a Polish picnic when I was 12."
